PRESS FEATURE AND SPECIFICATIONS: This press has extra long guide bushings to reduce platen tilt, which controls platen parallelism.The platen bushings are precision in-lined bored and fitted to posts to assure smooth platen movement.The Hydraulic lines are clamped for control of shock vibration to reduce stresses in the lines. Pipes are butt welded to reduce leaks. The platen and bed are designed for .002 inch of deflection per foot of R-L span based on full tonnage uniformly loaded over 2/3 of the distance of the useable bed. Tie rods are hard chrome plated for rod protection and smooth platen movement. SAFETY: Light Curtain (Banner) mounted across the front and back of press with bolt on expanded metal guards on each side (44” long).   AVERAGE SPEEDS, APPROXIMATE: (Position Shift Differential) Advance: 291 IPM; Press: 65 IPM; Return: 280 IPM; Approximate cycle time – Based on a 9” fast advance speed, 1” press speed, a 10” return speed is 5 seconds.   HYDRAULIC EQUIPMENT: Pumps: Constant delivery vane pump and a piston pump.
