Multi-Purpose C-Frame
Our customer needed to improve production by combining a swaging and staking operation in one press. We designed a press that completed the two operations with a 12" stroke and 800 IPM. The system also included a two post die set, die locators and clamps. The dies can be changed in less than a minute. To assist future automation requirements we designed special fixed guarding that will allow the customer to fit a part exit conveyor.
