Our customer needed to position bearing in shaft. They asked us to give them a precise position return control to eliminate tooling costs, eliminating the need for a hard stop. Phoenix's solution was to design a frame with 48" of daylight and allow for a 36" stroke. We designed a close loop proportional system. The system included a Delta mothion controller, LVTD and a Panel View 300 operator interface. The control allows our customer to position ram return within .030 of an inch.
